Faculty development session at ILMA University, Pakistan

Dr Hardik Vachharajani, Associate Dean, New South Wales, Australia led this informative virtual session that centred around Bloom’s Taxonomy, Verbs, Constructive Alignment, Examples and Mapping which culminated with a discussion. Dr Hardik expertly explained Bloom’s Taxonomy’s pyramid which was very important to comprehend for conceptual as well as critical teaching to occur. The lowest being the role-play of memory and the highest creativity.

Course on Academic Freedom

In an increasingly intolerant world, academics and universities are playing ever important role in generating and disseminating diverse ideas. Forward looking societies and institutions have responsibility to protect this academic freedom.

As a higher education leader, my learning from this course offered by University of Oslo (UiO) and Scholars at Risk was simple but significant; how can I promote and defend academic freedom on my campus.!

WeWork EChai Sydney Engagement

On 20 October 2019, I interacted with start up entrepreneurs at WeWork Sydney.

My message, stay focused on fundamentals. That is product, customer and value creation.! Learn from the waves and return to the base. I also emphasised on the role of universities in creating start up culture.

Thanks eChai.Network for organising the meet up. Great catching up with fellow panelists Edward Zia and Ritesh Garg. Good on you, Shaili Patel for event management and moderation!

ACS Certified Professional Title

I have been inducted as Member and Certified Professional of/by Australian Computer Society, ACS – The Professional Association for Australia’s ICT sector.

I decided to apply for membership and certification in recognition of increasing role technology is playing in management and higher education; two areas, I am really passionate about.

Certified Professional status provides business, government and customers assurance that my expertise has been independently assessed and validated by Australia’s professional association for the Information and Communication Technology sector.

I look forward to being part of exciting changes technology is going to bring in management and education.
